River is now expected to crest just over 18′ late next week.
Be sure you pull docks , boats, etc.
There are empty sand bags courtesy od the Guttenberg Fire Dept available in the Island building which is unlocked, if you need them. keep an eye on the NOAA site to track river levels. (see yesterdays post)
The Missippi River at Guttenberg is expected to rise to 18 feet by next Friday due to very heavy rains north. You will want to monitor the river levels.
at 19 feet the Island road is closed
