BOARD MEETING
04-23-2011
Board Members Present: Dave Wagner called the regular meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. with Jim McGuire, Barb Engle, Mike Shaffer, Don Niosi, and Carol Buhman in attendance, Dottie Reimer, secretary. Donna Gilkes, treasurer
Members Present: Larry Brown; Bob Preston, Ed Schneider, Wayne Jensen, Bob Gilkes, Tom Nagel.
Minutes: Reviewed minutes from October 2010 meeting, Motion to approve 1st Engle; 2nd by Shaffer, motion approved.
Treasures Report: Motion to approve treasurer’s reports, 1st by Shaffer, 2nd by McGuire, motion approved.
Bills: Current bills presented and reviewed. Motion to approve for payment, 1st by Shaffer, 2nd by McGuire, motion approved.
Building Permits: Ten (10) building permits presented:

Road Report: Don Niosi reported the roads look pretty good considering water was over them for awhile. There are a few bubbles on the back road, which he will be watching to see if they need repair. Suggestion was made to keep back road closed until road dries out and is safe to drive on. Also discussion held on setting fines to those who drive on Esmann Island closed roads.
Old Business:
- Board approved to have same contractor as last year for lawn care this year.
- Complaints heard regarding items left at dumpster which Waste Management will not take during normal refuse pickup. Received quote from Waste Management on cost to pick up these items. Board agreed to have Waste Management pick up items when dumpster is taken away.
- We are asking for residents of Esmann Island NOT to put items which Waste Management cannot pick up on a normal pickup day.
New Business:
- Have one delinquent account on books. Have been notified by owner he will pay account in full.
Next meeting set for Saturday, May 21st at 8:30 a.m.
