Board Meeting
June 23, 2018
Board Members Present:
Meeting called to order at 11:05 am by President Terry Denner. Board members present: Tom Reimer, Bruce Copeland, Bob Buhrow, Jane Ertl, Chip Flory, Tony Reyerson Also present were Helen Schwietert (Treasurer) Laurie Helling (Secretary)
1st Order of Business: Bruce Copeland made motion to retain current President Terry Denner and Vice-President Jane Ertl. Bob Buhrow 2nd the motion. All in favor and motion passed.
Minutes:
- Motion made to approve the board minutes of 5-19-2018 by Tony Reyerson 2nd by Bruce Copeland. All approved. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report:
- Treasurers Report had been presented in Annual Meeting so no additional motion was made.
Bills:
- Bills Presented: Utilities, Mowing, Final Ramp Invoice.
- Bids for 2019 Lawn Mowing will begin.
- Discussion on current Lawn Service and check on current contract. Tony will be sending him a letter on expectations.
- Tony Reyerson will contact Roger Moen about getting a new Island plot map.
- Next meeting, the board will tour the island to check common grounds.
- Tom Reimer made motion to approve bills, Bruce Copeland 2nd. All in favor. Motion carried.
Building Permits: None at this time
Property Ownership Changes:
- Board has heard of a few ownership changes ongoing.
- Helen will email Laurie changes.
- McCullick buying Carpenter lot.
- Hansen sold to David Coon but will remain using the property.
- **Reminder: Please let a board member know if you buy/sell/transfer property so we can keep our records current. Thank you.
Road Report: Discussed at annual meeting
Boat Storage Committee: Discussed at annual meeting
Ramp Committee: North Ramp Work has been completed and open for use.
Pond Committee: **See under New Business
OLD BUSINESS:
- Association Insurance.
- Jane Ertl will get a review of our current policies and get an opinion as to whether our coverage and policies are sufficient for our needs.
- Depending on that opinion, we may possibly seek new insurance bids as our renewal will be in August.
NEW BUSINESS:
- REMINDER: POND CLEAN UP- JULY 21st (8-12) Clean up cart trail, rake sand, rake algae away from shoreline. Possibly add additional landscaping. Bring bug spray, gloves, rakes, shovels and a can do attitude.
- If you can’t physically help, it would be awesome to have some water/soda donations to the clean up crew! *If there is a change in date/time, you will see a notification on the website, email list and Facebook. Thanks!
- Reminder to Pet/Dog Owners to abide by leash and dog ordinances. Clean Up after your dogs! Thank you.

Terry Denner asked for motion to adjourn. Motion by Tony, 2nd by Bob Buhrow. Motion approved. Adjourned at 11:35. am.
