BOARD MEETING
11-21-09
Board Members Present: Dave Wagner called the regular meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. with Doug Hintzman, Barb Engle and Mike Shaffer in attendance and Dottie Reimer, secretary. Donna Gilkes, treasurer
Members Present: Bob Gilkes, Wayne Jensen and Ed Schneider.
Minutes: Wagner called for motion to approve 10-17-09 board meeting minutes, 1st Shaffer; 2nd Engle, approved, motion carried.
Treasures Report: Board reviewed treasurer’s report (revenues and expenses) and discussed delinquent accounts. Letters will be sent to those stating the Association will place liens on property if not paid. Motion to approve treasures report; 1st Hintzman; 2nd by Shaffer.
Bills: Bills submitted for approval. Motion to approve submitted bills 1st Engle; 2nd Hintzman, motion carried.
Building Permits: 1 permit submitted, Jeff Evans, Lot 154. Motion to approve; 1st Shaffer, 2nd Engle. Building committee and board approved.
Please obtain a building permit from either Bob Gilkes or Wayne Jensen prior to doing any additions to your property.
Property Ownership Changes: No ownership changes have been submitted.
Road Report:
- Bob Gilkes stated the ‘NO DUMPING’ signs have been installed by Ken Brandel and himself. Thank you both for doing this for the Association. Two drains were placed due to instructions from the board.
- A big THANK YOU to Larry Brown for raking the leaves on the back road and other common areas.
- NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT BURN LEAVES ON COMMON GROUND, if anyone sees this being done, pleased notify any board member.
Old Business:
- Dave stated the last of the chloride is sold, paid for and gone.
- Received 2 bids for lawn care next year. Board reviewed and Miller Lawn Care will take care of common areas next year for $1,800.00. Suggestion made to contract for more than one year, this will be looked at next year.
New Business:
- Budget calls for donation to Guttenberg Fire Department in the amount of $250.00, check will be sent this week. Motion to approve 1st by Shaffer, 2nd by Engle.
- New 2010 budget was handed out and discussed. Fiscal year runs from January 1st to December 31st. Motion to approved new 2010 budget 1st Hintzman, 2nd Engle.
- Dave wanted to remind everyone to be aware of the Guttenberg Hospital’s fund drive.
With no further business to discuss, there was a motion by Shaffer, 2nd by Hintzman and Engle to adjourn the meeting at 9:45 a.m. All ayes, motion carried.
Next meeting scheduled for April 24, 2010 at 9:00 a.m.
