SPECIAL ROAD MEETING

Board Members Present: Dave Wagner called the special road meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. with Carol Buhman, Barb Engle, Ken Brandel, Don Niosi and Mike Shaffer in attendance, Denise Schneider, treasurer and Dottie Reimer, secretary.
Dave explained why this meeting is being called and went over all the amounts listed on the ballot. Discussion with membership on where funds were coming from.
- Ken Brandel explained why the board decided to have the roads done by Steffes Construction from New Hampton. Stated they can start on the road as early as next week, and as soon as he knows if this proposal passes, he will be in contact with Steffes construction. Steffes will guarantee/warrant 100% of what they put down for 1 year. Most likely will not guarantee road for frost boils and this is part of Mother Nature. Question asked about road maintenance and how long this application will hold up. Don Niosi stated typical road like ours with a 20 year life span would need to be maintained 4 to 5 times in a 20 year span. Discussion held with membership and when no more discussion was needed, Wagner asked for membership to cast their ballots.
- Wagner stated anyone interested in the secretary and treasurer’s positions to please turn in application by next week. Question asked if these positions where being vacated and the answer was no. The association must open these positions every year.
- There was some shed damage on Lot 283 from a young lady on a green 4 wheeler. If anyone has any information on this 4 wheeler, please contact any board member.
- Final vote on road proposal: YES: 87 NO: 35
