ESMANN ISLAND OWNER’S ASSOCIATION

BOARD MEETING

10-17-09 

Board Members Present:  Dave Wagner called the regular meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. with Doug Hintzman, Carol Buhman, Barb Engle, Ken Brandel, Don Niosi, Mike Shaffer in attendance and Dottie Reimer, secretary. Donna Gilkes, treasurer 

Members Present:  Richard Stabb,Ken Schmerbach, Larry Brown, Gary Schneider, Ed Schneider, Bob Gilkes and Jim Helling. 

Minutes:  Wagner called for motion to approve 9-15-09 board meeting minutes, 1st Hintzman; 2nd Buhman, approved, motion carried.  

Treasures Report:  Dave reported bank did not use funds in money market account to pay off part of road loan.  He will address this on Monday with bank. Motion to approve treasures report; 1st Engle; 2nd by Shaffer.       Continue reading →

No extra charge for items except the following:

*APPLIANCES & T.V.’s- $30/ each

(Washers, Dryers, Refrigerators, Stoves, Microwaves,

Dishwashers, Dehumidifiers & T.V.’s) 

TIRES

Car, $3.00/each Light Truck $ 4.50 each

Small Implement $ 4.50 each

Medium Implement $ 8.00 each

Rear Tractor $20.00 – $30.00 each depending on size 

Batteries will be accepted at no charge. 

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:

Fence posts, wire, rock, concrete, yard waste or toxic waste.

No garbage from outside City Limits.

Demolition, construction and reconstruction will be handled at the discretion of Hawkeye Sanitation, Inc.

Please have all items at curbside by7:00 A.M. the morning of Sept 14th.

Driveway Approaches

Work on the seal coating for the road will start next week.

If you want your drive approach done, the cost is $4.50/square yard if you had it done last year – or $10/square yard if you have never had it done.  To estimate, take the area in square feet and divide by 9 and then multiply by $4.50 or $10.00.  You will find them very inexpensive.  If you want to have the work done, contact Ken Brandel (Road Committee)  at 563-252-3273 orDon Niosi (Road Committee) at 563-252-3590…
